ON-LINE MONITORING

  • Start Page
    • Once you login to your site, you will be at your start page where you will choose to look at your sensor data, your report generator, or report generator.

  • Sensor Data
    • The Sensor Data page displays the most recently uploaded data in the form of color-coded bar graphs. Green represents the optimum range, while yellow is a warning stage. Red is displayed when the sensor is at an alert level. All of these levels can be configured on the Sensor Config. page. When you click on the name above a graph, a pop-up window will appear that displays a single sensor graph. You can alter the dates to display the data that you need or, for more options, use our Custom Graphs page. Since there is no two way communication between the web server and instrumentation the municipalities security is guaranteed.

  • Quick Data View
    • The quick data view allows you to see the raw data values without the graphical bar chart representation. This format can be a benefit if you have several sensors you are tracking as all the data will typically fit into the viewable screen area.

  • Custom Graphs
    • The Custom Graph page allows you to create graphs of your operational data. The first step is to select the sensors to be included. Then, chose between the style of lines or dots, and whether you want to graph data while the system is off-line. Finally, enter the dates, which you would like to see data between. Once you are ready, click Create Graph to see it.
  • Custom Reports
    • The Report Generator page allows you to create detailed reports for viewing or download. The first step is to select the sensors to be included. Then, select the frequency of data points. You can add a graph or a daily average to your report but they are only supported if you chose Excel as your format. Finally, enter the dates, which you would like to see data between. Once you are ready, click Create Report to see it.

  • Monthly Reports
    • These Monthly Reports offer an example of the customized reports that WaterEye can create for you. Working with our software engineers, you can have a report generated that is specific to your operational needs. These example reports are used for a small water district's compliance reporting.

  • My Graphs/Reports
    • This page allows you to create custom graphs and reports and save the for future use. This feature eliminates the need to create the same report every time you need to run something.

  • Enter Data
    • The Enter Manual Data page allows you to upload values for sensors that have been configured to receive data manually. Once the data has been entered, it will be immediately available for viewing, graphing and reporting. If you are entering just one data point, then fill in the date, time, and value for the specific sensor. If you need to enter more then one data point (i.e. a weeks worth of data), skip the first section altogether and begin at the bottom of the page. There you will select a sensor, and the date range to be entered. Finally, select how many data points per day you need to enter and click next. A new page will be generated for you to input all of your data points. This option will only show up if you have manual sensors where you choose to enter the data yourself.

  • Flow Diagram
    • The flow diagram is a graphical representation of your plant, the values will update in sync with the sensor data page, and all values can be clicked on to see the custom graph view. This screen looks very similar to your SCADA screens. In some instances we can actually take a screen shot from Wonderware® (for example) and use this as your flow diagram.

  • PDA Sensor Data
    • The PDA sensor data has been set up specifically to be viewed on any small hand held device. Rather than seeing your system in a bar chart or flow diagram format, you will only see the raw data values. Ideal for receiving plant operational data via a cell phone or other device.

  • Critical Events
    • The Critical Event Handler is a system that was developed from the need of high precision monitoring during specific events. These events might last only seconds, but they still need to be recorded and uploaded to the data servers. With this system, you can collect detailed information about critical events before and after they occur with adjustable sensitivity. Applications include: Backwash analysis, bad valve handling (surge/water hammer conditions), permeate backpressure conditions, etc.

  • System Status
    • The system status page gives an on/off notification for your site. Helpful if you have multiple trains.

  • Comments
    • The comments section allows operators to enter notes about the site, leave notes for other operators or person who might also have access to the data. Better than a clip board, as we store all the comments for you. They'll never get lost, guaranteed.

  ADMINISTRATION

  • Sensor Configuration
    • Here you can edit and add and delete sensors to your WaterEye account at the click of a button. No more having to call a Wonderware® programmer to make a few simple changes.

  • Alarm Recipients
    • On the Alarm Recipients page you can add, edit and delete persons who you wish to receive alarm notifications.

  • Sensor Alerts
    • Here you can edit your sensor alerts. You can change the values for sensors which you want to receive alarms on, you can also enable and disable sensors.

  • Upload Alerts
    • If your WaterEye site ever fails to upload the data an alert will be sent to anyone listed here. As technical support, the WaterEye support team is always notified of a data upload failure.

  • Alert Log
    • View all the alarms you have received. A several month history of all alarms is available for you to view.

  • Visitor Log
    • See who has been looking at your WaterEye account and what they have been looking at in the Visitor Log section of the website.

  • Manage Users
    • The Manage Users section of your website allows you to grant password protected access to any individuals you wish. You can also delete user access in this section.

  • Add Sensor Scaling
    • After you adding a sensor to your WaterEye account, you may want to adjust the scaling. This section will allow you to set raw low, raw high, scale low, and scale high. You can also edit existing sensor scaling.

  • Scaled Sensors
    • Here you can view the sensors you currently have being scaled.
